Wedding at Bled Castle – Wedding with Style
The view of the castle perched on a white rock and the view from the castle's terrace on the surrounding landscape leave few people untouched. This is why many couples upon their visit to Bled decide to get married at Bled Castle. A wedding day at the castle is lively and different, and the wedding party at the restaurant a perfect round-up to the romantic day.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . When making the booking, you should specify that you wish the wedding ceremony to be held at the Castle. Wedding ceremonies take place in the afternoon, starting no earlier than 15:00.
On the arranged day of the wedding, your wedding party will be met at the castle car park ten minutes before the agreed wedding time by a page who will escort you to the well at the lower castle courtyard. The Lord and Lady of the Castle will then descend down the staircase, greet everybody present and accompany you to the hall where the ceremony will be held (Knight's Hall).
The ceremony is accompanied by zither music as a perfect backdrop to the wedding protocol. The official part of the ceremony takes 15 to 20 minutes. After signing the wedding certificates, the bride and groom, best man and maid of honor toast with sparkling wine, which is included in  the price of the basic wedding package. For other wedding guests, sparkling wine or drinks can be ordered from the castle restaurant.
The basic wedding package also includes floral decorations on the wedding table and free admission to the castle for all wedding guests.

Documents to be submitted by foreigners wishing to get married in Slovenia
- valid passports,

- recent Extract from the Register of Births – if not submitted in international form, birth certificates must be further authenticated (apostille),wedding flowers 01 - single status certificate – duly authenticated,
- Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage – certificate by the authorities of the individual's home country that there are no impediments for the marriage to take place in the Republic of Slovenia - duly authenticated (apostille)
- personal details of two witnesses (name, surname, date of birth and address).
As a rule, the documents submitted must not be more than 6 months old. They must be issued on the basis of international conventions or authenticated in accordance with the Act on verification of documents in international traffic.
Documents in a foreign language must be translated into Slovene by a sworn court interpreter. Wedding ceremony must also be translated by a sworn court interpreter.
